Led a Mazama team of 8 to Northeast Ridge on North Sister, my preferred route. The sunshine for climb day didn't materialize to melt the scattered snow and dry the lichen, so we bailed at 8670 feet, 1400 shy of the summit. Most of the scenery, none of the technical climbing, but everyone agreed it was a beautiful route and wants to try again next year!

Four of us took a side trip on the way out into Collier Cone to Collier Glacier View, well worth the hour spent and arriving home after midnight.
